These River Otters have a big problem! What is it? That's up to you! How will they solve their problem? That's up to you too! Choose one of the above photos to write a story about. Start thinking of an interesting story you could tell about the photo you chose. What is happening? Where does the story take place? Try to include some facts you have recenly learned about River Otters!

 

Now get a white piece of paper and fold it into 4 squares. Open the paper up and fill it out like this.

Fill in your 4-square paper completly with pencil before you start typing. When you have filled your 4-square and finished your story you may begin typing. When you are finished typing submit your story to your teacher. Make sure to tell her which photo you are writing about!

 

Your story must include:

*An eye catching title

*At least 3 sentences in each paragraph

*Indentation for each new paragraph

*Capitals to start each sentence

*Punctuation to end each sentence

*Setting, Characters, Plot

*Can be fiction or nonfiction

*Interesting word choice
