This assignment is for students who know nothing about marketing
1.) Spend 10 minutes on the internet (I will set a timer). Find out everything that you can about marketing.
2.) After your search spend 5 minutes making a list of what you found. Share links, ideas and learning.
3.) Turn to a friend and spend 10 minutes sharing what you found.
4.) As a partnership decide what idea is the best and share with the class.

Objectives: This assignment is given after they understand the 4 P's.
The students need to market themselves to the rest of the class.
I've included the grading rubric, as well as the example on me. I would obviously suggest creating your own example.
This gives them an opportunity to market something they should know a lot about, themselves.

I use this quizlet link to go through and discuss and introduce each function and then have them work in small groups to discuss which one each of the examples are. Some examples are a local business in our town , you may want to change the names to local businesses in your area.

For 15 minutes, search the school for marketing efforts. The list must include but is not limited to, the location and supposed effectiveness of trophy displays, posters, and banners. Describe the item, where it is in the building, and why you think it is effective. You must have a minimum of 12 items to receive full credit for this assignment.
You must stay inside the school building. Any student not in their seat, in the classroom, at the end of the time will be marked un-excused for the class period.
