BFM Business Management Strand 2022
This course seeks to develop sound management concepts within students, as management plays a role in any future employment opportunity. Students are able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate data from the other functional areas of business (e.g., marketing, finance, and production/operation). Effective management requires decision-making abilities, long-range planning knowledge, human relations expertise, and motivational skills. Students learn the four basic functions of management: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.

BFM Business Law Strand 2021
Students will gain an understanding of the law as it relates to them currently and the implications of the law in their future lives as well as the lives of their family and friends. They will also work to gain an understanding of basic legal vocabulary. This course will include an understanding of the court system at the local, state, and national level. Students will gain an understanding of contract law, their rights and responsibilities as citizens, utilization of financial transactions, employment and agency relationships, and the understanding of the regulations governing different types of business organizations.
