Course Syllabus

In the Module 3.SCI.2 Living-Nonliving  students will understand that organisms depend on living and nonliving things within their environment.

During this module students will  classify living organisms and nonliving things (objective 1) and describe the interactions between living organisms and nonliving things in a small environment (objective 2).

At the end students will create their own Google Slide to explain the differences between living organisms and nonliving things.

In the Module 3.SCI.1 Sun, Moon, and Earth students will understand that the shape of the Earth and the moon are spherical and that Earth rotates on its axis to produce the appearance of the sun and moon moving through the sky.

During this module students will describe the appearance of the Earth and the moon (objective 1) and the movement of the Earth and the moon and the apparent movement of other bodies through the sky (objective 2).

In the Module 3.SCI.3 Force and Motion students will understand the relationship between the force applied to an object and the resulting motion of the object.

During this module students will demonstrate how forces cause changes in speed or direction of objects (objective 1)  and demonstrate that the greater the force applied to an object, the greater the change in speed or direction of the object (objective 2).
